Great beach for the family. 2 nice restaurants with good food and great views.
Great Beach! Clean, not always overcrowded. Can actually walk from the car to the water without leg cramps and passing out!!! Not that horrible treck across a huge parking lot burning the bottom off your feet!!!!! Everything is in walking distance. Love it!
The kids had a great time at the spray park. We spent the day and hung out at the beach. The spray park is on the bayside, which is better if you're with children. If you prefer the ocean, it's at the opposite side of the parking lot (separate beach). The crowds vary depending on when you go. There's a restaurant and outdoor cafe area. The food was really good, too. It was a very clean environment overall. The best part is the short walk from the car to the beach!
Very nice place for the kids. Beware of the restaurants. Do not go, they are a complete rip off because the food is disgusting and the prices are super expensive $$$$$$$ if the food was good it would be ok I guess. The spray park is so much fun for the kids. The day after we went, we took my daughter to the Dr. And found out she contracted hand foot and mouth disease from the water park. I guess it's inevitable when visiting places like this. Overall it's fun just stay away froom the restaurants.
Food was very good. Our waitress was terrific. BUT. Service was very slow, we were told only 1 of 2 chefs had shown up. And the bar couldn't make a mojito or a margarita because they were out of everything after a busy 4th of July weekend. Also took a long time to be seated even though there were empty tables. And there was no waitress service for the couches in the waiting area. It was a beautiful night and the sunset view was stunning.
